The material of the oil seal
|
The commonly used materials for oil seals are: nitrile rubber, fluorine rubber, hydrogenated nitrile rubber, silicone rubber, acrylate rubber, polyurethane, polytetrafluoroethylene and so on. When selecting the material of the oil seal, the compatibility of the material with the working medium, the adaptability of the operating temperature range, and the ability of the lip edge to follow the high-speed rotation of the rotating shaft must be considered. In general, the temperature of the lip edge of the oil seal is higher than the working medium temperature of 20 ~ 50 ¡ã C, and attention should be paid to when selecting the oil seal material. The working range of the oil seal is related to the material used in the oil seal: -25 ~ 120 ¡ãC when the material is nitrile rubber (NBR), acrylate rubber (ACM) -35 ~ 150 ¡ãC, fluoroelastomer (FPM) -25 ~ 250 ¡ãC, hydrogenated nitrile rubber (HNBR) -55 ~ 150 ¡ãC.
